The objectives of the Foundation shall be to:

 (a)       Advance the scientific discipline of Psychology, and the education, training and practice of psychologists as scientist-professionals.

(b)       Encourage the definition of and maintenance of high standards in the education of psychologists with a strong emphasis on the basic discipline of Psychology.

(c)       Encourage high standards of research in Psychology and promote the funding of psychological research.

(d)       Encourage the definition and maintenance of high professional standards of performance in all areas of psychology using evidence-based procedures and methods.


(e)       Establish co-operative relations with university departments offering education and training of psychologists as scientist-professionals, relevant professional bodies, and government instrumentalities and private organizations responsible for psychological services.

(f)        Conduct and encourage research relating to the objectives of the Foundation.


(g)       Educate the public as well as business and government bodies concerning psychology as a science and its potential contributions.


(h)       Offer higher level consultancy services in areas of psychology.


(i)        Promote the activities of the Foundation.
