Membership criteria
(a)
Membership is open to
(i) representatives nominated by Australian
University Psychology
Departments or Schools which can demonstrate
a commitment to
the rules and objects of the Association.
The Committee will invite such Schools/Departments to
nominate up to
two representatives for membership.
It is expected that ordinarily one of the departmental
representatives will
be the Head of the School/Department.
(ii) Persons invited by the Committee to become
members. Such
persons must be senior psychologists who
have made a significant
contribution to the development of
psychology as a basic scientific
discipline, or as an area of scientist
professional practice. The
number of invited members may not exceed 10
at any one time.
